WinBaseline
Support, guides, and project help in one place.
Tiered Windows 11 baselines — preview first, apply with a restore point, use Persistent Blocks when Windows keeps putting things back.

Quick answers for the questions people hit first. For longer write-ups, use Docs.
Preview vs Apply
Preview is safe and read-only. Apply creates a restore point, then makes changes.
Update watchers
Optional logon tasks that re-apply Persistent Blocks if Windows Update undoes them.
USB / portable use
One standalone exe. No install. Local cache lives under your AppData folder.
How do I use it safely?
- Run as administrator when prompted.
- Pick a tier (Privacy → Kiosk).
- Review Persistent Blocks and Apps checkboxes.
- Click Preview Changes first.
- Only then click Apply.
What are update watchers?
Scheduled tasks named like WinBaseline-Persist-* that run at logon and re-check selected Persistent Blocks. They are optional and not real-time monitoring.
Can I run it from a USB stick?
Yes. Copy only WinBaseline.exe. On first run it extracts the engine to %LOCALAPPDATA%\WinBaseline\ on that PC.
Something failed during Apply
Check the Preview / Results tab and the log folder under LocalAppData. Most items are skipped cleanly if already removed. One failure does not stop the whole run.

Support development
WinBaseline is free. Optional sponsorship keeps privacy tooling independent — no ads, no telemetry in the app, no paywall on core cleanup.
Optional one-time or recurring support via Stripe.
Optional. Never required to use the software.
Coming later — Pro / Kiosk
After release, a low-cost Pro SKU may cover Aggressive/Kiosk packs, fleet profiles, and business licensing. Core Privacy + Balanced stay free.
